Founded in 1881 by the Marist Brothers, St Joseph’s College is a boarding and day secondary boys school, whose Catholic identity is shaped by Marist spirituality and traditions. Governed by Marist Schools Australia, the College enrolment is 1,100 students.
The College seeks to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Outdoor Education Teacher/Educator, with relevant qualifications (such as Cert IV, Diploma or University Degree), to work at the College's Colo Outdoor Education Centre. This well-established centre is situated on 30 hectares bounded by the Colo River and the Wollemi National Park, with extensive facilities and equipment. The Colo campus is the base for the College's sequential Outdoor Education program for Years 7 - 9 and offers multiple program activities including adventure rope course, bushwalking, canoeing, mountain biking and orienteering.
The successful applicant will have strong skills and proven teaching experience in several of the program activity areas; be committed to the value of Outdoor Education; pastoral care; curriculum development and have the personal attributes to teach in a close-knit professional team.

Pay rates, penalties and entitlements are as per the Education Services (Schools) General Staff Award for Cert IV and Diploma staff.
