Library Technician
Temporary, part-time 0.4 FTE for Term 1, 2022 (Monday and Wednesday)

Founded in 1881 by the Marist Brothers, St Joseph’s College is a boarding and day secondary boys school, whose Catholic identity is shaped by Marist spirituality and traditions. Governed by Marist Schools Australia, the College enrolment is 1,100 students.

 

 The College seeks an enthusiastic and suitably qualified Library Technician to work in our exciting state of the art learning space. Knowledge and understanding of the needs of staff and students within a school community, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Proficient computer skills, both Mac and PC, an ability to provide point of need tech support and ability to use a range of software applications including, Destiny, LibGuides, ClickView, Microsoft Office and Adobe suites. A keen interest in literature and knowledge of reading interests of teenage boys is preferable.

 

An ability and willingness to embrace a collegial, team-based approach to work that places a high priority on building positive relationships with staff and students and delivering excellent outcomes are essential.
