Founded in 1881 by the Marist Brothers, St Joseph’s College is a boarding and day secondary boys’ school, whose Catholic identity is shaped by Marist spirituality and traditions. Governed by Marist Schools Australia, the College enrolment is approximately 1,100 students.

The College seeks a committed educator with a clear vision for excellence to support the leadership of a large and successful TAS department, which is committed to curriculum development and excellent teaching.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the ability to teach a range of subjects including; Technology Mandatory, Industrial Technology (Timber/Metal) and Design & Technology. Further to this, experience in teaching Engineering Studies, Construction or STEM is desirable. The successful applicant will be experienced, qualified and have a proven record of successful student achievement. A demonstrated capacity to embrace the college’s Learning Framework and a collegial & collaborative approach as a member of a successful department is essential.
The TAS department is situated in a modern, fully equipped building, specifically designed to provide wonderful facilities for both students and staff.
The College operates a Boarding and Extended day program for all students. As such, further opportunities beyond a teaching role can be available.
