About the College:
Founded in 1881, St Joseph’s is an independent Catholic boarding and day secondary school for boys, under the care of the Marist Brothers. In 2019, enrolment is approximately 1,100 boys from Years 7 to 12.
About the role:
St Joseph’s College has a proud, successful and rich tradition of engagement in all endeavours of sport and co-curricular activities within the GPS competition. All students of the College enthusiastically participate in comprehensive summer and winter programs.
The Head of Basketball is responsible for the leadership and direction of College’s basketball program in consultation with the Director of Sport and Co-Curricular.
With a primary goal of developing and implementing programmes which will consolidate and further advance current structures, the successful applicant will ensure that the program will be strategic, engaging, challenging and inclusive across all age groups and abilities.
You will have a track record as an outstanding, committed and experienced leader and coach with a vision for excellence.
Applicants must have great energy, determination and experience at coaching at an elite level, and possess excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
Other sport duties are required as part of this role during the Basketball off-season.
