Greenkeeper / Groundsman
Full-time, ongoing position - commencing early 2020

About the College:


Founded in 1881, St Joseph’s is an independent Catholic boarding and day secondary school for boys, under the care of the Marist Brothers. In 2019, enrolment is approximately 1,100 boys from Years 7 to 12. 


About the role:


A full-time position (7:00 am - 3:00 pm) is available for an experienced and enthusiastic Greenkeeper to maintain and further develop the College grounds and sports fields.


Essential requirements for this role include:

  • Turf grass knowledge,
  • Cricket wicket preparation experience,
  • proven technical skills,
  • exceptional attention to detail,
  • strong personal motivation and
  • the ability to prioritise. 


About you:


You will

  • hold a minimum qualification of Certificate III in Sports Turf Management,
  • be an effective team member,
  • have a current driver’s licence and
  • be familiar with WHS requirements. 
  • Experience in a comparable environment would be well regarded. 

The successful candidate will be required to successfully complete a six-month probation period prior to being offered ongoing employment.
